YECO: Zamfara State Govt Disburses October Stipends To 1,000 Beneficiaries

The Zamfara state Government has today disbursed its monthly stipends under Youth Empowerment Committee (YECO), where about 1,000 people have been benefitting with at least N10,000 per month from the gesture, which started since the inception of his excellency, Honourable (Dr) Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun as the governor of the state.

The programme, due to the effort and inspiration of the state Governor, has ameliorated the youth, poor and vulnerable, however, the programme immensely prevents vulnerable households from falling further down the poverty line and building their resilience to withstand shocks.

Meanwhile, Kafilu Global Resources is among the five (5) basement companies facilitate the payment with the technical directives issued by the state governor, (Dr) Bello Matawalle, who had put his weight behind the successful cash disbursement exercise.

Consequently, two folks among the beneficiaries, both from the Kafilu payment unit, in the separate interviews expressed their gratitude to the state government for introducing the programme that alleviating the suffering of the youth, poor and the vulnerable in the state.

They further vowed to remain grateful to the state government for the kind gesture, adding that they would invest the money to generate more income to help their lives since the livelihood component of the programme is fundamentally aimed at enabling beneficiaries to establish a sustainable means of livelihood.
