All stakeholders in Education have been advised to give the maximum support required for the full security of schools in the state.
The executive chairman, Zamfara state Universal Basic Education Board Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu (Danmadamin Maradun) made the call when he held a meeting with stakeholders on education in the state on the formation of safe schools environment committee held at Teachers Training and Development centre byepass Gusau.
A statement by the public Relations Officer of the Board Alhaji Samaila Labaran Dashi (Tambarin Kwatarkwashi) said the Executive chairman also urged Traditional rulers, parents, Teachers and education givers to be vigilant in their areas so as to ensure safety of our children in the school.
Also in a welcome address, the permanent member One of the Board Alhaji Abubakar Abdullahi implore the participants to help by alerting the security on any suspecious movement.
In their Goodwill messages, the state SBMC chairman, State PTA chairman, executive Secretary mass education, executive secretary Nomadic education, executive secretary female board and state HILWA Chairperson commended the forsight of the state Governor Dr Bello Muhd Matawallen Maradun, Boards chairman Alhaji Abubakar Danmadamin Maradun for coming up with the committee which they said is timely.
Papers were later presented on measure to be taken incase of any treats in the schools. The papers were presented by Aminu Musa kanoma Director Education quality assurance, Director Primary education Garba Abdullahi Gusau, Director Teachers Training centre Na’Allah Musa Gummi and senior special Assistant Umar.
