The SBY NA DODO Foundation has announced the award of scholarship to 100 students pursuing various diploma courses at Zamfara College of Arts and Science (ZACAS) Gusau.
The scholarship was aimed at complementing the state government efforts toward mobilising and supporting the youths with anything that will help them towards safeguarding their future and also to shun all forms of violence to ensure peace, progress and political stability of the state.
The foundation disclosed that beneficiaries, were drawn from the less privileged ones, after satisfying certain criteria so as to enhance their future and their ability to cope with challenges of higher levels of education. So, the effort of the foundation towards actualising this is quite commendable and laudable.
We therefore, commend the founder of the SBY foundation, Honourable Sufyanu Bashir Yuguda for organising these giant strides that would go a long way in helping the youths in the future.
Our constant advice for the well-meaning political appointees to emulate this kind gesture. We all have a role to play, everyone has a role to play in developing our society. These youths are our future, we need to try our possible best to impart them.
