Retired Provost Collage Of Health Services, And Pharmacist Isah Join APC In Zamfara

Immediate past Provost of the state’s College of Health Sciences, Tsafe, Mohammed Idris Gusau and the retired Director Pharmaceutical Services in the Zamfara State Ministry of Health, Pharmacist Isah Mohammed have formally picked up their membership cards of the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the credible leadership of governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle.

In a statement Signed by Yusuf Idris Gusau, APC Publicity Secretary, Zamfara State and made available to the spectacles, revealed that, the duo who were brought to the state party secretariat by the state Commissioner of Health, Hon. Aliyu Abubakar MC and further taken to the governor by the party Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani told the governor that their decision to join the APC was informed by their excited appreciation to the performance and successes being recorded by the Matawalle-led administration in the state.

They said after their formal declaration to the governor and the party, they will go to their respective wards to inform their hundreds of supporters of the decision and the need for more support to the current leadership in the state under Matawalle which has brought unity of purpose to the people as well as improved the security and development of the state thereby repositioning Zamfara to a higher and better status.

They assured the governor and the party leadership of their undistracted loyalty to both the party and the governor for the betterment of the state.

They thanked the governor and the party leadership for the warm reception accorded them.

In his response, governor Matawalle reassured his guests that the present APC in the state is an all-encompassing one passionately willing to carry all members along and giving them equal opportunities and privilages.

He said, they should not see themselves as new comers but as members working for the unity, growth and development of the state and the party.
