Zamfara Newly Sworn Deputy Gov. Continues To Receive Solidarity Visits From Well Wishers

ZAMFARA STATE NEWLY SWORN DEPUTY GOVERNOR CONTINUES TO RECEIVE SOLIDARITY VISITS FROM WELL WISHERS ACROSS THE STATE.

All roads lead to Gusau, with contingents and individuals continue trooping in as well-wishers on a solidarity visit to the residence of Zamfara State new Deputy Governor His Excellency Senator Hassan Muhammad Gussu over his appointment in that capacity.

The mammoth crowd of people that greeted the development is an indicator of selecting the right person by the State Executive Governor Dr Bello Muhammad Matawalle.

The Deputy Governor, while receiving a powerful delegation of women politicians under the leadership of the State APC women leader Hajiya Aisha Waziri and her executives, expressed his happiness for the large turn out and their focus to be the first group he received after he was sworn in as Deputy Governor.

Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau further said the role of women in politics cannot be over-emphasized and assured them of his continuous personal and official support, as the administration of Governor Matawalle has initiated a lot of women empowerment programmes for women self-reliance across the State.

The Deputy Governor also received in his residence another solidarity visit from top class business people under the leadership of an elder statesman Alhaji Umaru Mailittafai Gusau, Alhaji Ahmad Musa Master (A A Master).

Sole administrators of Gusau and Maru Local Government areas, Hon Sanusi Sarki Gusau and Hon Salisu Isah Dangulbi, Council Secretaries of Zurmi, Bungudu and Gusau local government areas were among the personalities on solidarity to congratulate the Deputy Governor.

Other groups include Directors General Forum led by the Chairman of the forum Hon Idris Garba Rikiji, Hon Commissioner Alhaji Yahaiya Chado Gora, Hon Special Adviser Alhaji Umar Sani Katuka, Islamic scholars, traditional rulers, youth groups among many others.

His Excellency the State Deputy Governor thanked everyone and promised to live up to expectation.
