Zamfara Acting Gov Chaired A Familiarization Meeting With Security Chiefs In The State

Considering the giant stride made in the effort by the present administration of His Excellency, Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) towards championing the noble course of addressing the most challenging phenomenon of insecurity in the State, Zamfara State Acting Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad (Jarman Gusau) has this Saturday, 26th February, 2022 chaired a formal introductory meeting he organized with all the operating security service chiefs in his office.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Director-General Press Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Zamfara State, Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi ANIPR and made available to the Spectacles today.

Briefing newsmen shortly after the meeting, the State Acting Governor said the purpose of summoning the meeting was to formally introduce himself as the new sitting Deputy Governor, be very much familiar with all the security chiefs, and to solicit for their continuous support and cooperation to the government and good people of Zamfara State.

Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau reiterated the commitments of His Excellency Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle in transforming the State with particular emphasis on ensuring that no stone was left unturned especially in the areas of restoration of peace and security.

The Acting Governor, therefore, urged the security chiefs to redouble efforts in the discharge of their responsibilities as the government is doing everything humanly possible to make the people sleep with their two eyes closed.

In attendance at the meeting were the Hon Commissioner for Security DIG Maman Tsafe, Brigade Commander, State Commissioner of Police Ayuba Ei-Khana, the State Commands’ respective Commandant Nigerian Civil Depence Core, Comptroller Nigeria Immigration Service, Comptroller Nigeria Correctional Centre, Comptroller Nigeria Custom Service, and the Permanent Secretary Office of the Deputy Governor.
