In continuation with hosting of various individuals and groups among well-wishers, the State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau received a delegation of his 1973 classmates of his alma-mata, Gusau Township Primary School.
This was contained n a statement signed by the Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi ANIPR, DG Press Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Zamfara State and made available to the spectacles on Monday, 28th February, 2022.
Speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Governor expressed optimism and appreciation over their prompt decision to pay him the solidarity visit.
According to him, it is not easy to gather the great number of them scattered elsewhere across the country where they are pursuing different endeavors for a living, but sacrificed time to unite themselves for this purpose.
Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau further solicited for their contribution in in any way possible individually and collectively through with participation, support and advice the to the present administration of Governor Bello Matawalle, saying the task of state building for socio-political and economic development is a task binding on all in a democratic setting.
On his alma-mata, he also assured of his continuous support to it at all times.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the delegation Dr. Bello Umar Gusau said they were at the residence of the Deputy Governor to congratulate him over his new position as number two State citizen and also to express their gratitude to His Excellency Governor Bello Matawalle for making the right choice of a trustworthy personality in the person of Distinguished Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau to serve on that capability.
Dr. Bello Gusau called on the Deputy Governor to remain steadfast in his good character of exhibiting the good virtues he had acquired right from the primary school days as he remain the ambassador of 1973 old students of Gusau ownship Primary School.
In another development, the Deputy Governor has received the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Zamfara State branch led by its Chairman Commrade Ashiru Maru along with the union’s State Executives and veterans that include Alhaji Jimada Musa and Yabo Minister Bungudu, among many others.
