A Prominent Figure Among Women Politicians In Zamfara Applauds Leadership Style Of Gov Matawalle

One of the most prominent figures among women politicians in Zamfara State, Hajiya Mabaruka Zurmi popularly known as Hajiya Giwa Zurmi, has yesterday paid a solidarity visit to the Deputy Governor’s Office with over two hundred entourage from Zurmi Local Government area and was gladly received by the State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau.

The Deputy Governor expressed satisfaction with the wordings of Hajiya Giwa and especially over her courage to stand firm in continous mobilisation of people to understand the seriousness attached by the present administration especially its commitment to state transformation in the areas of security and other sectors for the betterment of the entire citizens in the State.

In a statement signed by the Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi ANIPR, DG Press Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Zamfara State and made available to the spectacles on Friday, 4th March, 2022.

Senator Hassan Muhammad was quoted in a statement as saying “APC, as the ruling party, is all embracing with its doors widely opened at all levels towards accommodating people of the highest caliber, the likes of Hajiya Mabruka Giwa Zurmi, who earn much regard in the society”.

The Deputy Governor, therefore, on behalf of the State Executive Governor Dr. Bello Matawalle assured all the visiting APC supporters led by Hajiya Giwa that the Governor would be duly briefed on the development witnessed in her care.

He also assured her of seeking for the Governor’s approval to personally receive her next week in Zurmi, adding that he has already given a directive to the APC Chairman Zurmi local government Alhaji Gambo Mayasa to ensure appropriate mobilisation of all stakeholders not only in zurmi but the generality of all the four local government areas that constitute Zamfara North Senotorial District Constituency to make the event a more colourful one.

Earlier speaking, Hajiya Giwa informed the Deputy Governor that she decided to join the party because of the examplary leadership style demonstrated by His Excellency Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun), as he adopted the spirit of carrying every body along irrespective of political differences.

Hajiya Mabaruka called on all political office holders in the area to redouble efforts in supporting Matawalle’s vision comes 2023, and reaffirmed the overwhelming support the present administration receive from Zurmi, as the area is since declared by the community there as a no go area to anybody except Matawalle and APC as the ruling party in Zamfara State.

Alhaji Gambo Mayasa APC Chairman Zurmi local government, and Saifullahi Yusuf Zurmi Sole Administrator Zurmi Area Development Council were among many of the key political affairs stakeholders in the area that graced the occasion.
