Executive Chairman State Universal Basic Education board Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji disclosed this in Bodinga, in continuation of the sensitisation campaign on enrollment of children in schools using Non Formal Learning System under Cohort two BESDA Project.
In a statement signed by the SUBEB public relations officer, Abbas Tukur Sanyinna and made available to the spectacles on Thursday 10th March, 2022.
Alhaji Altine Shehu noted that the project is also aimed at ensuring that such OOS children receive western education for them to at least be able to read and write.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary of the board Alhaji Ahmad Rufa’i Ibrahim the SUBEB boss called on people to be patriotic in that regard by contributing their quota through effecting minor repairs in schools within their domains as government alone can not shoulder all the responsibility.
Speaking the chairman State House of Assembly Committee on Education Alhaji Buhari Haliru Yarima assured of his committee’s readiness to supporting SUBEB in every way possible to moving the education sector forward in the state.
He emphasized on the need for people of the area to remain supportive of the project.
Commenting the BESDA LEAD Result Area one Alhaji Kabiru Aliyu who represent state LEAD BESDA Alhaji Ummaru Yabo highlighted some of the successes recorded during the first year of the project.
He noted that sokoto state captured third position among the 17 states enjoying Besda intervention in the country interns of successful implementation.
Alhaji Kabiru Aliyu to this end harped on the need for all and soundry to contribute for more success, saying while the proprietors of the schools will be paid 10 thousand naira monthly
In his address,the chairman of the represented by councilor education Shuaibu abdullahi Sifawa Expressed delight with the selection of the area to benefit with the project.
In their separate remarks,the education Secretary of the area Lauwali Na’akka Mu’azu and the district head of Bodinga Alhaji Muhammad Bello Abdulra’uf pledge their unflinching support and cooperation towards the success of the project.
