Brand New Vehicle And Modern Office Facilities Donated By Zamfara Deputy Governor To Gold City FM Radio Gusau
The Deputy Governor, who was at the station last week said, due to his interface with the management of the outfit, he saw the need for him to complement the efforts of the State Governor for constructing and equipping the new radio station owned by the State Government.
From a press statement signed by the Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi, ANIPR, Director General Press Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Zamfara State, a copy of which was made available to the Spectacles on Tuesday 15/03/2022.
The statement read, Senator Hassan Muhammad while presenting the brand new vehicle and modern office facilities to the Honourable Commissioner of Information Ibrahim Magaji Dosara said he decided to support the Gold City FM Radio with an operational vehicle and other office accessories for documentation purposes.
Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau, while calling on the management to utilise the properties effectively, also solicited for similar gesture to such organisations in recognition of the role they play in promoting peace.
Responding on behalf of the Management of Gold City FM, the Honourable Commissioner Ibrahim Magaji Dosara thanked the Deputy Governor for his focus in assisting the baby station in that direction, hoping that the gesture will now help the staff to compete with other sister stations in the State.
Honourable Dosara while thanking His Excellency, also promised him of proper utilisation and maintenance for efficient sustainability.
Dosara also thanked APC Chairman Rawayya Bela Ward for cash donation of one hundred thousand naira to the station for fueling the vehicle.
Also in a response, the General Manager of Gold City FM Engr Sani Aliyu Abdullahi Gusau presented to the Deputy. Governor a rebranded wall clock for usage by His Excellency in his office.
