Governor Matawalle Described As A Great Transformer By Visiting UNICEF, UNDP, UN, EU, Germany And Norway High Level Delegation

In his address, the State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau expressed the State Government’s appreciation for the decision to come as a follow up to the first meeting between them and State Governor held in the United States of America.

While appreciating the delegation Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau explain to them the success recorded by the present administration in different sectors of the economy coupled with Governor’s effort to restore peace and security in the State.

The Deputy Governor, on behalf of the government and people of Zamfara State hoped the outcome of their return visitation to the State would continue to unveil a fruitful result in all the interests vested in target sectors of the economy.

Also speaking at a dinner organized in their honor, the leader of the delegation Muhammad Yahaiya said they were overwhelmed over the warm reception accorded them.

Mr Muhammad Yahaiya further explain to the critical stakeholders present at the dinner that they were in the State for a follow up visit to see for themselves the environment and what they can offer as support especially in the areas of education and health.

According to him, the major challenge they both consider as bedeviling development is that of poor education level, as indices of out-of-school children in the State raised to sixty three percent which is very serious, as key indicators of development would not be a reality at present and in the future.

Mr Muhammad Yahaiya who also commended the administration of Governor (Matawallen Maradun) for his good policies and programmes especially his actions of transforming the State to the next level of development. Yahaiya described Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) as great leader and a transformer.

Mr Muhammad Yahaiya, on behalf of his team were thankful for the sumptuous kind of hospitality they enjoyed and reiterated their commitment to ensure doing the needful in all the challenging areas identified during their interface with relevant key stakeholders in the state, and concluded wishing the government and good people Zamfara State well.
