Jos North LGC To Mobilise Contractors Handling Roads Back To Site

The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman says plans are underway by his administration to mobilise contractors handling Jenta Adamu and New Market roads back to site.

Usman disclosed that his administration had entered a convenant with the people and has no intention in anyway whatsoever to abandon the Jenta Adamu and New Market road projects.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Media Aide to the Executive Chairman, Jos North Local Government Council, Philip Eplong and made available to the Spectacles on 23rd March 2022.

The Chairman who stated this in a statement in Jos, stressed that the delay in the completion construction of the road is as the result of the loss of some construction equipments of Altech Nigeria Limited.

The Chairman explained that the Council engaged Altech Nigeria Limited in a fruitful discussion with the assurance of maintaining the standard and quality of the road network and sticking to the roads design.

Usman said is aware of the plight of citizens in the two communities due to the non completion of the projects and appealed on them to keep faith with his administration as he is committed to the completion of the projects in other to fast tract the economic and commercial activities of the area.

He called on the inhabitants of the two Communities to be patient and understanding and expressed optimism that very soon contractors handling the two road projects Will return to site to complete the work in order to alleviate their plight.
