Gov Matawalle Commiserate With Victims Of Kaduna Train Attack

Governor Bello Mohammed,(MON), has commisserated with victims of Monday night Kaduna train attack among which included the former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Wakkala Liman.

From a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Public Enlightenment, Media and Communications, Zailani Bappa, a copy of which was made available to the Spectacles on Tuesday, 29th March, 2022.

Governor Matawalle said the incident was another onslaught on our collective existence as peace loving people and also a threat to meaningful social existence.

“I was saddened when the news came to me that one of the safest means to travel is being compromised. It is a condemnable act and must be considered as a declaration of war on our people,” Governor Matawalle observed

“This time, more than ever before, we shall concentrate on building a better synergy to holistically address the increasing threat by bandits and insurgents”, Governor Matawalle assured.

“I wish to commisserate with the Kaduna State Government, the families of those who lost their lives and a fast rescue by our security operatives of those abducted Nigerians and a quick recovery for those who were injured in this heinous attack”, Governor Matawalle added.
