Matawalle Commiserates With Yargeda, Ruwan Gizo, Ruwan Gora Communities Over Banditry Attack

Governor Bello muhammad Matawallen Maradun was represented by a high powered Government delegation led by the State Deputy Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau who expressed dismay over the incessant armed bandits’ attacks that claim lives of a number of innocent citizens, had many others injured and several properties worth millions of naira destroyed.

Addressing the people of the affected three districts of ‘Yargeda in Bakura Local Government area, those of Ruwan Gizo and Ruwan Gora of Talata Mafara Local Government area that suffered the invasion, lamented over the senseless attacks by the bad elements despite all efforts being strengthened to enhance security situation in the State.

Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau said the administration of Governor Matawallen Maradun would not allow such unwarranted criminalities to continue in the State, as he promised the communities the State Government is all out to ensure provision of maximum security protection in the areas.

The Deputy Governor, while calling on the affected areas to unite themselves and be brothers’ keepers, reminded them that they are expected to report people with suspicious behaviours and character especially those suspected to be leaking information to the bandits.

On behalf the State Governor Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun, Government, and good people of Zamfara, sympathized with the families of those who lost their lives, prayed to Allah to grant them eternal rest wish Jannatul Firdausi as their final abode.

Responding on behalf of the communities of Ruwan Gizo and Ruwan Gora of Talatar Mafara, the Emir of Mafara Alhaji Dr Bello Muhammad Barmo thanked the State Government for the quick response in less than twenty four hours by appointing a high powered Government delegations under the leadership of the State Deputy Governor to visit the sites of the attacks in Yargeda, Ruwan Gizo and Ruwan Gora.

The Emir also urged the people to intensify constant prayers seeking for Allah’s intervention in bringing lasting peace and security in the area, State and Country in general.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the S S G, Head of Service, Chief of Staff, Some Hon Commissioners, Special Advisers, Directors General and Talata Mafara Local Government Asress Sole Administrator, among many others.
