Zamfara: Islamic Organization Urges NSCDC To Intensify Efforts On Security

The Islamic Organization and Quranic School Board in Zamfara State has appealed to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC)to intensify more efforts towards fighting terrorists in the State.

The appeal was made during a courtesy visit to the board.

The Board, which was led by the Executive Secretary – Alhaji. Sani Jangebe, who represented the board Chairman, Dr. Atiku Balarabe Zawuya said that the essence of the visit was to reckon with the Corps in her prowess of fighting crime and in the maintenance of law and order in the State.

Alhaji Jangebe, who extolled the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity, said that the board had deemed it fit to collaborate with NSCDC in all facets of their activities.

“The board is saddled with the responsibility of fending for all Islamic organizations and Quranic Schools in Zamfara State, which is in line with the yearnings and aspirations of the State Government to gradually integrate the Almajiri system into a formal system of education,” he said.

He solicited the cooperation of the Corps in ensuring that all the activities of the board were done and carried out in a secured atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the State Commandant, Mr. A A Sparks, who was ably represented by deputy Commandant, Admin, DCC Musa Garba welcomed the visitors and commended their resolute to seek for security attention in all their dealings, assuring them of the readiness of the Corps to support and give protections to the Board in all their activities across the 14 local government areas.
