The two recent approved ones are: Maigero phase 11 (TPO 1263) and Buwaya area ( TPO 1210) in Chikun Local Government Area respectively.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Executive ( PRE) of Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA), Nuhu Garba Dan’ayamaka said the total number of regularization layouts so far approved by Governor El- Rufa’i are now fifteen (15).

The release reviewed names as follows: Danbushiya, Gidan Daji, Sabon Gida, NAFDAC, NITR, Chanchangi (Sabon Tasha), Danhonu 1, Maigero phase1, Babban Saura and Oil Village.

Others are Kinkinau, NITEL Television, Stello (Sabon Tasha), Maigero phase 11 and Buwaya respectively.

According to him, the approval is in line with the ongoing Urban Renewal Programme of Kaduna State Government and the State Government’s gesture for the regularization of undocumented layouts within the designated urban areas and other parts of Kaduna Metropolis.

The Authority therefore called on the owners of unapproved structures and those intending to develop within the recent approved regularized areas to come with their relevant documents to commence the building permission process.
