The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Niger State Council, Comrade Abu Ahmodu has expressed grief over the sudden demise of the State Correspondent of Africa Independent Television (AIT), Muhammad Danladi Ibrahim who passed away in a ghastly motor accident yesterday in Minna.
In a statement signed by the Assistant Secretary of the Council, Comrade Abu Nmodu described the deceased as an exemplary, unpretentious and outspoken Journalist who discharged his duties with diligence, devotion and integrity.
He stated that NUJ Niger State Council has lost an industrious and active member to the cold hands of death.
He said death was an inevitable end of every soul and a cold reminder to all believers to smoothen their relationships with one another, stressing that his contributions in the NUJ activities will be missed.
Danladi who was survived by his wife, five children as well as an aged mother, have since been buried in accordance with Islamic injunction.
May Allah in His infinite mercy forgive him of his shortcomings and give his family, Niger State media family as well as his close associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, amin.
