The theatrical acts of former Zamfara governor, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar is and must come to an end as the nation is fast advancing towards the 2023 general elections even though pride is still playing itself in the ex-governor’s mind but just as his blind followers are burying their faces in shame since the continued progress of the APC which they claimed wouldn’t happen, their leader is still in search of which political party he can quietly cool off.
I watched a video clip circulating on social media where the former governor hosted a Ramadan breakfast at his Talata Mafara residence with the people of Gummi local government area in attendance, Yari announced that he will formally make known his next political direction after the upcoming Eid-El-Kabir.
Having realized his past mistakes and to tactfully apologize too over his political escapades while serving as governor, Yari used the forum to say, ‘this time around, everybody will be involved in political decision,’ forgetting that he is just coming into a new political platform with leaders and their laid down rules and regulations.
This is coming on the heels of an outburst by the state PDP Chairman on Sunday, 17th April, 2022 that the former governor had joined the PDP.

As we have always said, at the APC, we are always trying to woo people and support without any intimidation, the result of which the party has grown from strength to strength but as for the Yari’s and Marafa’s, God and the good people of Zamfara and Nigerians can bear us witness for having done our utmost best to tolerate them in the APC at a time they were attacking us personally and through their cronies, thus, their exit is a good omen to us while the good thing is, people now know who they are and how they are trying to mend after they bullied.
The APC is waiting to hear this political direction and we are ever ready to defeat him politically and end the bragging.
The Zamfara State APC under governor Matawalle’s leadership remains united and formidable and will deal decisively with all types of politicians who refuse to accept the will of God.
