Zamfara Govt Receives White Paper C’tee’s Report On Zurmi, Dansadu Emirs

 Zamfara State government received the white paper committee's report on earlier submission on Zurmi and Dansadu emirs accused of partaking in banditry activities.

Receiving the report this Tuesday, April twenty sixth, 2022 in his office, the State Acting Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau said, in line with the priority attached to security system, he received the report from the committee on behalf of the State Government, adding that the required attention would be in the implementation process of what the white paper entails.

From a statement signed by Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi, ANIPR, Director-General Press Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Zamfara State, a copy of which was made available to the Spectacles on 26/04/2022.

The statement read, “Senator Hassan Muhammad Gusau appreciated the white paper committee’s speedy work within the timeframe to submit their report which will serve as a guide to the Government in taking next line of action against anyone found wanting of the allegations”.

Speaking during the formal presentation of the report, the Chairman of the Committee and former Commissioner of Police, Mamman Anka, thanked the State Government for identifying with them among many and shouldered them with the responsibility of coming up with a white paper in respect of the alleged involvement of the two Emirs, namely Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Muhammad of Zurmi Emirate and Alhaji Hussaini Umar of Dansadau Emirate in banditry activities.

Alhaji Mamman Anka also thanked members of his committee for their commitment, dedication and talents they have demonstrated throughout the exercises, and assured the State Government of their readiness to serve the state whenever they are called upon to serve.

In attendance at the occasion were the Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, Chief of Staff Alhaji Ibrahim Suleman, Information Commissioner Hon Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, some Special Advisers, among many others.
