The State Acting Governor Senator Hassan Muhammad (Jarman Gusau) this evening took a special trip to Maradun town purposefully to pay Sallah homage to the families and relations of His Excellency Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun.
The Acting Governor was received by Alhaji Abdulkadir Maikiyo Maradun and Permanent Secretary Alhaji Aliyu Maikiyo Maradun at the Governor’s residence in Maradun.
Jarman Gusau said, since the Governor was away this year for Lesser Hajj in the Holy Land, he took it upon himself as his responsibility to join the families and relations to celebrate with them on behalf of his Principal.
Shortly after the reception organised by the family in honour of the Acting Governor and his entourage, a special prayer was offered for peace and security in the State.
The Acting Governor thereafter led his entourage to Maradun cemetery and visited the graveyard of Late Hajiya Safiya Magaji, mother of His Excellency Dr Bello Muhammad Matawalle. While there, special prayers were offered on individual capacities at the graveyard in line with Islamic injunctions, seeking for Allah’s forgiveness and blessings to her, that she enjoy His benevolence with a reward of Jannatul Firdausi.
Senator Hassan Nasiha was accompanied by Hon Special Advisor Abubakar Musa Mainaira Mafara, ADO’s of Jangebe and Mada, Alhaji Ahmad Danfulani Matawallen Tudun Wada, and Director General Protocol office of the Deputy Governor, among many others.
