Sokoto State Govt Settled Its Year 2022 Matching Grant To UBEC

The Executive Chairman, Sokoto State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Altine Shehu Kajiji give the hint today while speaking at the opening of a ten days Review Meeting on Teacher Recruitment and Deployment Guidelines in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed by the SUBEB public relations officer, Abbas Tukur Sanyinna and made available to the Spectacles on Thursday 26th May, 2022.

Alhaji Altine Shehu explained that the year 2022 Matching Grant which amount to the tune of one point five billion naira will pave way for the execution of SUBEB/UBEC infrastructural development projects in basic schools across the state.

With this development Kajiji hinted,the state government under the leadership of governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has paid it’s 2019,2020,2021 and 2022 Matching Grant to the Universal Basic Education Commission .

Kajiji to this end commended the governor Tambuwal for his continued support and cooperation to improving the standard of basic education sub-sector in the state.
