Democracy Day: Rep Abdullahi Gaya Calls For National Unity

The member representing Ajingi, Gaya and Albasu in the House of Representatives Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has called on Nigerians to continue foster national unity more importantly as the country’s matching toward 2023 General Election stressing there is hope for the nation unity.

This was disclosed in his goodwill message to commemorate 2022 Democracy Day issued and sighed by His Senior Legislative Aide Alhaji Ibrahim Umar to media outlets in Kano.

He adding that as we get set for the 2023 general elections, I call on all eligible residents Ajingi, Gaya and Albasu local government areas in particular, state and Nigeria in general to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and ensure they discharge their civic duty during elections.

Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya further said that there is need for Nigerians not to give up on the country, saying despite the country facing various tribulations and challenges in our journey into nationhood, still we should not despair but rather continue to seek ways of consolidating gains of the nation’s fledgling democracy and Let’s keep hope alive.

He also commemorate with governor Umar Ganduje, peoples of the state and his constituents for witness yet another Democracy Day.
