JUST IN: Kano Govt Bans Tricycle Operations After 10:00pm

Kano state government on Monday announced a ban on the operations of tricycle operators popularly known as A Daidata Sahu after 10:00pm.

According to the government, the ban takes effect from Thursday, July 21, 2022.

This was contained in a statement issued by the state commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, on Monday.

The statement said that the decision to that effect was reached at the end of the state security meeting.

It said the measure was part of effort to ensure security of lives and property in the state.

In the statement, the commissioner urged tricycle operators to comply and stop operating at the stipulated time as security agents would enforce the ban without compromise.
