The Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company has announced that there would be planned power outages across capital city of Zamfara State from Friday 29th July to 29th August 2022, between 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.
This was disclosed by in a statement issued on Thursday, 28th July, 2022, by the head, corporate communication, Abdulazeez Abdullahi.
The statement partly reads:
One Month Planned Outage in Gusau and Environs
The Management of Kaduna Electric hereby informs its esteemed customers in Gusau and Environs that there will be interruption of supply by the Transmission Company of Nigeria from Friday, 29th July, 2022 to 29th August, 2022, from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily.
The outage is to enable the TCN engineering crew to re place existing glass insulators with new polymer insulators.
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences this would cause our valued customers while assuring that electricity supply would be restored as soon as work is concluded daily.
