The ADC Candidate Contesting for the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Shinkafi Constituency in the 2023 General Election Suleiman Abdulrahaman Was Kidnapped Along Shinkafi- Sokoto Road while on his way to get his credentials at the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
The incident is coming barely forty eight hours after armed bandits killed an Imam and two others in Yankaba Community, In Kaura Namoda Local Government.
Shinkafi Local Government is bordering Kaura Namoda and are located in the Northern part of the state which has enjoyed relative peace in the last few months following the cease fire by a Notorious Bandit Bello Turji who is known to be terrorising the area.
Police in Zamfara is yet to speak on the incident as no ransom has been demanded for his release.
