The Executive Committee members of Yola South Local Government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State have suspended Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Modibbo (Binani), the party’s Governorship candidate, from the party.
In a letter signed by 21 party officials, Binani’s suspension for six months was endorsed, with the accusation of court contempt levelled against her. The officials also accused Binani of causing factionalization, division, and crisis among the party members.
Binani who is the party’s gubernatorial candidate suspension coming barely three weeks before her election.
