Commercial Banks In Zamfara Dispense Cash To Only Account Holders

Commercial banks in Zamfara State have designed another method of dispensing cash to their customers, insisting that customers can now only withdraw their funds from their respective banks.

Findings by The Spectacles showed that almost all the banks in the State dispense only N10,000 to their customer due to the scarcity of the new Naira notes.

A trip round the commercial banks in Gusau, the State capital showed that those who received monies from their banks did so inside the banking hall and not through the ATMs.

“We are tired of this unpopular kind of financial transaction. Supposing your bank has no money, that means you will have nothing for your family”, said one Jamilu.

Most of the bank customers interviewed blamed the Buhari administration, pointing out that he has no interest in the masses at heart.

“If we had known earlier that Buhari would treat us the way he is treating the common masses, we wouldn’t have wasted our precious time to vote for him in 2015 and 2015”, they lamented.

The Spectacles reports that businesses have continued to suffer due to lack of patronage as a result of the new Naira notes scarcity.
