JUST IN: INEC Reveals Condition For Voting After 2:30pm

The Independent National Electoral Commission has confirmed that voting will continue after 2:30 pm if there are still eligible voters in the queue.

INEC chairman Mahmood Yakubu gave the clarifications after questions were raised about the 2:30pm guideline released by the agency.

Yakubu, who admitted that INEC officials arrived late to many polling units, urged eligible voters not to panic.

He assured that voting will continue on the condition that eligible voters remain in the queue.
