A former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator elect representing Zamfara West, Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari, the Shetima of Mafara, has called on all Zamfara State people that are with their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly polls on March 11, 2023.
Abdul’Aziz Abubakar Yari made the call while fielding questions from journalists in Talata Mafara.
Yari said, “voting Senators and House of Representatives members is like a 35 per cent out of hundred, that is why I am calling on people to come out and vote for Governor Matawalle, because the state government is the one closer to people, even in the rural areas, which is very important.
“I have to admit that there is my own camp in the political cycle in Zamfara State, that is why I am calling on them to come out and vote for APC during the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections, which Governor Matawalle is the candidates”.
Yari further said that, this time around, they are ready to correct all the mistakes even if there were any, because nobody is perfect, I believe people are wise, so they should vote wisely.
” I will do my best at the National Assembly because I cannot put my words in doubt, but I thank almighty God for taking us to where we are today and I also thanks my constituents that votes for me as senator under this harsh weather only God will reward them so with this I will do my best”.
“There is nothing one can do to win the heart of human beings except from God that is why I wins and I accept is and I will do my best”, Yari admitted.
