The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections across the country on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Governorship elections were held in 24 States of the Federation, while State Assembly elections were held in the states. No election took place in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Dauda Lawal cleared all the three Local Government Areas so far declared.
You would recall that the candidate of APC is the current Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Mohammed Bello Matawale.
However, three LGs out of 14 LGs so far announced.
