Man Shot By Bandits, Wife & Daughter Kidnapped In Zamfara

In Gusau, Zamfara State, gunmen thought to be bandits shot Mallam Mannir Abubakar and abducted his wife and daughter.

In the early hours of March 29, 2023, the alleged bandits reportedly assaulted Abubakar’s home, which is behind the Karma hotel, and tried to kidnap him and his family.

Abubakar claims that when he protested the kidnapping, the assailants fired at him and then abducted his wife and children.

According to reports, he is being treated for his wounds from the shooting at a hospital in Gusau, the state’s capital.

The location of the abducted family members is still unknown.
