Zamfara NURTW Chairman Withraws Resignation Letter, Says Till His Tenure Ends

The Zamfara state Chairman of National Union Of Roads Transports Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Hamisu Habibu Kasuwar Daji, has today withrew his resignation letter he issued to the managemnet of the union on 29th of March this year.

This was contained in a letter he tendered to the Union’s management, informing them that he has withrawn the earlier letter of resignation, and he would continued as a Chairman till his tenure elapse.

The withrawal of his resignation letter was as a result of the advice given to him by some critical stakeholders of NURTW, and his union loyalists.

According to Alhaji Hamisu Kasuwar Daji, the withdrawal of his resignation became imperative, so as to follow the constitution governing their union, and the constitution gave him the mandate to continue as a substantive Zamfara NURTW Chairman from 23/10/2019, when he was elected up to 23/10/2023, where his tenure will elapsed.

He however called on all aggrieved members, or any member that needs any position to wait till 23/10/2023, as stipulated by the constitution.
