The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Zamfara, has cleared the three National Assembly seats in the just concluded supplementary election which was conducted on Saturday.
After declaring Hon. Ikra Aliyu Bilbis winner in the rerun senatorial election for Zamfara senatorial zone, the returning Officer, Professor Kabiru Abdulahi, said Bilbis of PDP scored a total of 102,866 votes to beat senator Kabiru Garbar Marafa of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who scored 91,216 votes.
For Gusau/ Tsafe Federal Constituency, Dr. Aliyu Moyi, who was the returning officer, was also declared Hon. Kabiru Amadu Maipalace of the PDP as the winner in the contest.
He said that the PDP scored a total of 41,893 to beat his APC rival, Honorrable Sanusi Garba Rikiji who scored 28,836.
