NDE Commences Registration Of Unemployed Youths In Zamfara

The National Directorate of Employment, NDE, has completed arrangements to embark on registration of all unemployed youths in the 14 local government areas of Zamfara State.

The state Coordinator of the Directorate, Gusau office, Mohammed Umar Sanda, disclosed this in a press statement made available to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, saying the state registration is scheduled to start on Monday 17th April to 5th May, 2023.

According to the statement, the registration exercise will hold at NDE state office, Tankin Ruwa, near Rabi’a jumuat mosque, Gusau, for those within Gusau and environs while those in other local government areas are expected to register at their respective councils secretariat.

The NDE Coordinator, therefore, appealed to all unemployed youths in Zamfara State to use the advantage and register themselves in their respective local government areas to benefit from the programme.

According to him, the federal government wants to have the full statistics of unemployed persons across the country to make a proper plan for them.

Mohammed Umar Sanda added that highest qualification, local government indegineship, valid means of identification (NIN), permanent home address and contact phone number are among the details required for the registration.
