The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has reiterated the Corp’s resolve to provide maximum support to any lawful association in the state.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the spokesperson of the Command, Ikor Oche, issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital.
The statement noted that the Commandant of the Corps, Muhammad Bello Mu’azu gave the assurance when the leadership of the Zabarkano Association of Nigeria, Zamfara State chapter led by Yahaya Ishaq paid him a courtesy visit.

The State NSCDC boss asked the group to collaborate with the Corps and other security agencies to effectively combat the ravaging crime wave in the State.
He urged the leadership of the Association to effectively galvanize all its members and enlighten them to shun crime of any kind.
In his remarks, the leader of the Zabarkano Association Of Nigeria, Zamfara State chapter, Yahaya Ishaq said the NSCDC is considered to be civilian-friendly.
He maintained that the essence of the visit was to introduce and familiarize the newly elected executive members of the Association to the Corps.
He thanked the Commandant for the warm reception accorded to them and eulogized the Corps in the fight against insecurity in the state, reiterating the resolve of the Zabarmawa association to collaborate and give their support to the Corps in the fight against insecurity and other forms of criminalities in the state.
