BREAKING: Moon Sighted in Nigeria As Sultan Declares Friday Eid el-Fitr

His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh Muhammadu Saad Abubakar lll has just annouced the sighting of the new Moon of shawwal at various places in Nigeria.

The members of the Shawwal committee have earlier said the moon has been sighted in some parts of Nigeria which included Yobe, Sokoto and Maiduguri.

The sighting of the moon signals the end of the 29 days fasting by Muslims across the world in the Islamic month of Ramadan, therefore has called for Muslims Ummah to observe Eid-el-fitr 2023 prayer tomorrow Friday 21st April.
