Shehu Sani Reveals Real Reason Buhari Postponed 2023 Census

Senator Shehu Sani has stated what he believes to be the real reason for the Federal Government’s postponement of Nigeria’s 2023 population and housing census.

The Buhari-led Federal Government said the reason for the postponement is to enable the country make adequate preparations for an accurate and reliable census. The census earlier scheduled for May 3-7 has been shifted to a date to be determined by the incoming administration.

Reacting to the development, Shehu Sani wrote on his Twitter handle;

"The simple fact is that the FG doesn’t have $1.8 Billion for the Census and now shifted the Wahala to Asiwaju."
