Sudan Crisis: Kaduna Govt Evacuates Scholarship Sudents

The Kaduna State Government has started to evacuate its scholarship recipients in Sudan.

This information was disclosed in a statement posted on the Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board’s Twitter page on Sunday by Hassan Rilwan, the board’s secretary.

“Kaduna State has evacuated all of its scholarship recipients in Sudan and has also started the evacuation of all Kaduna State students,” the statement said in part.

This follows a recent agreement to enforce a statewide ceasefire beginning at midnight on April 24 and lasting for 72 hours between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces.
