BREAKING: Bandits Release Remaining Abducted Wanzamai Children

Bandits have released fourteen remaining abducted children in Wanzamai village of Tsafe local government area of Zamfara state.

They were released today noon after an undisclosed amount of money was paid.

One of the members of the community confirmed their release to The Spectacles through Whats’App conversation today.

He said, “14 of the remaining children have been released this noon. The remaining one being killed and have already performed a funeral prayer for the deceased” he said.

The released of 14 abducted children came about two weeks after a batch of 70 were released on Friday 28th April 2023 and reunited with their parents.

The bandits had on April 7, invaded Wanzamai village, located some few kilometres away from Tsafe metropolis and abducted 85 children.

At last, 84 of the abducted children had regained freedom, while the remaining one being killed. May his soul rest in peace.
