APC Must Muster Stomach To Discipline Ex-Gov Yari – APC Chieftain

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Okoi Obono-Obla has urged the ruling party to muster the stomach to discipline the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari.

According to Obla, Yari’s utterances are incendiary, disrespectful, divisive, and unbecoming of a supposedly national leader of the Party.

“Yari has been a pain in the neck of the Party. His intransigence, uncompromising, and arrogance cost the Party a colossal loss in Zamfara State in the 2019 general election”, Obla said.

Obla said Yari is on it again, this time threatening that APC will cease to exist if the North doesn’t get the Senate Presidency.

“Can you imagine how insensitive and primordial Yari’s mindset is? It is utterly inconceivable and unreasonable that a leader like Yari could be. I shudder at such unreasonableness Yari is exhibiting “.

Yari had earlier refused to step down for the party’s consensus choice, Godswill Akpabio for the Senate Presidency.

Northerners feel no hate towards Tinubu as we have seen in how the governors like Bello Matawalle, el-Rufa’i, Badaru, Ganduje e.t.c stood with him to the end. It is losers in Atiku camp that are trying to create some animosity and even Yari knows he’s going nowhere with his noise.

His noise has no connection to the interest of the North, it’s the interest of a few ruling elites, imagine, he is threatening that North would vote against Tinubu in future if its not given Senate President.

I still don’t understand what hi is up to. First he worked against governor Matawalle, now he is acting up over the Senate president, which i believe northerners are not requesting for that, it’s only Yari for his selfish interest.
