SWAN Zamfara Chapter Setup 7 Man C’ttee To Organizes Media Challenge Cup

The Zamfara State chapter of Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), has inaugurated a seven-man Local Organizing Committee to conduct a Media Challenge Cup in the state.

This was discussed by the Secretary of the association Diniel Kepas Dogon Yaro in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the state.

Those inaugurated are, Dahiru Samaila Mafara, as Chairman, Aminu Abubakar Mayanchi Co- Chairman while Abubakar Tsalha Almajir Will serve as Secretary.

Others are Adeyeni K. Salaudeen member, Husainni Gambo, Member, representative from FA and Zamfara Sport council as Members.

According to the chairman of the state chapter, Murtala Rabiu Dabbakal, said the committee was mandated to organize a hitch free competition and ensure all the relevant stakeholders of the association are adequately informed.

He added that, activities will commence from Thursday, 25th May, 2023 with groupings in which all heads of media organizations are expected to grace be around at the NUJ Press Center by 11am prompt.
