Governor Alia Flags Off Housing Project In His First Day In Office

In a significant move to address the housing needs of low-income earners in Benue State, Governor Revd. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has officially flagged off the Villa De Lia Housing Project in Makurdi.

The project, undertaken by Riella Properties and Investment Limited, aims to provide affordable housing options for residents.

The Villa De Lia Estate, located at Mbangyur Layout Phase 1 on Gboko Road, after the Nigerian Air Force Base in Makurdi, will consist of 200 units.

These units will include fifty duplexes, as well as one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments with three bathrooms. The focus on providing diverse housing options ensures that individuals with different needs and preferences can find suitable accommodation within the estate.

The project’s initiators have named it Villa De Lia in honor of Governor Fr. Alia, recognizing his commitment to improving the lives of the people of Benue State. They have also tagged the project “100 in 100,” symbolizing their ambition to complete the housing units within the first 100 days of Governor Alia’s administration.

The Villa De Lia Housing Project aligns with Governor Fr. Alia’s vision of creating affordable housing opportunities for low-income earners in the state. By initiating this project, the Governor aims to reduce the housing deficit and improve the quality of life for residents.

The development of this estate will not only provide comfortable homes but also contribute to the overall development and growth of the community.

The Villa De Lia Estate is set to become a symbol of affordable housing and a significant milestone in Governor Fr. Alia’s efforts to transform the housing sector in Benue State.
