Zamfara Gov Visits Water board, Directs Immediate Supply Of Water

Dauda Lawal, Zamfara state governor, has directed the state water board to ensure immediate supply of water to the capital city of Zamfara to save residents of Gusau from water scarcity.

Dauda who was represented by the chief of staff, Honorable Mukhtar Lugga gave the directive on Tuesday when he inspected the state water board.

This was contained in public notice issued to news men in Gusau, by the D.G Media and communication, Nuhu Salihu Anka.

The public notice partly reads;

This is to bring to the notice of the general public that His Excellency Governor Dauda Lawal is deeply concerned with the perennial water shortage been faced by the people of Gusau and environs.

This has necessitated His Excellency’s unscheduled visit to the state water Board facilities, which has given more insight into the problems bedeviling the issue of water supply to the public.

As a demonstration of His govt commitment, Governor Lawal immediately directed the chief of staff hon mukhtar Lugga to liase with the management of the state water Board in order to ensure immediate supply of water to the people of Gusau and environs.

The chief of staff has this morning paid an unscheduled visit to the state water Board to convey His Excellency’ s matching order of technical and Financial support.

With this development,the general public is hereby inform that pumping and supply of water to some areas of Gusau will resume today Insha Allah.

His Excellency the state Governor is soliciting for more petiece and prayers from the good people of Gusau and environs as more efforts are being put in place to ensure temporary and permanent solutions to the problem.
