Firm Donates Hospital Equipment Worth Over ₦100m To Zamfara Govt

Governor Dauda Lawal received a significant donation of medical equipment and hospital-related items valued at over a hundred million Naira on Thursday. The generous donation was made by Minjirya Health Services Limited, a medical firm, and was presented to the Governor at the State Council Chamber in Gusau.

Alhaji Mustapha Falaki, the Managing Director of Minjirya Health Services Limited, handed over the donation, highlighting that these contributions were aimed at enhancing healthcare services within Zamfara State.

Sulaiman Bala Idris, the Governor’s Spokesperson, emphasized the vital importance of the donated medical equipment. He reiterated that this donation aligns with the Administration’s commitment to a comprehensive revitalization of the state’s healthcare system.

The gesture from Minjirya Health Services Limited, based in Kano, demonstrates strong support for Governor Lawal’s endeavors to rejuvenate the health sector. The extensive list of donated items includes suction machines, dental chairs, delivery beds, hot air ovens, diathermy machines, sterilizer machines, an automatic haematology analyzer, major surgical sets, defibrillators, pulse oximeters, ward screens, ultrasound machines, electrocardiography machines, and theatre beds, among other essential items.

Governor Dauda Lawal expressed heartfelt appreciation to the company, acknowledging the pivotal role that quality healthcare plays in Zamfara. He noted that the donation exceeded his expectations and was a valuable addition to ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare delivery in the state. The equipment, particularly requested by Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, is poised to significantly bolster their services.

The Managing Director of Minjirya Health Services Limited, Alhaji Mustapha Falaki, explained that the donation was driven by the sincere intention to support Governor Lawal’s administration in elevating the health sector. Recognizing the urgency conveyed by the State Government for the quoted items, the company chose to contribute these items as a goodwill gesture.

Accompanying the Managing Director was Hon. Aminu Jamo, the representative of Daura/Sandamu/Mai’Adua Federal Constituency, underscoring the collaborative efforts involved in this impactful initiative.
