Governor Dauda Lawan of Zamfara State has taken a significant step towards infrastructural enhancement, approving a substantial allocation of N4 billion for the first phase rehabilitation of internal roads in Gusau.
In an official statement released by Idris Mainasara, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Works and Transport, the commitment was confirmed on Thursday in Gusau.
The initiative, aimed at improving urban connectivity, was revealed by Mr. Ibrahim Agege, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure and Urban Development.
The prestigious contract for this crucial undertaking has been awarded to Ronchess Global Resources Plc, a trusted name in the realm of infrastructure development.
The revitalization efforts will encompass key routes within the Gusau metropolis, including Bello Barau Roundabout to Gusau Central Police Station, Bello Barau Roundabout to Government House, Bello Barau Roundabout to Tsohuwar Kasuwa, Yan Kekuna Junction, Emir’s Palace, and Rankin Ruwa.
These transformative endeavors hold the promise of significantly enhancing the quality of life for local residents.
