President Bola Ahmed Tinubu convened a significant consultation session on Sunday evening in Abuja, during which he engaged in productive discussions with Governors representing states that share borders with Niger Republic.
This meeting held at the State House in Abuja and was aimed at fostering collaborative efforts in addressing the prevailing situation in Niger.
In attendance were esteemed Governors who are deeply invested in regional affairs, including H.E Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State, H.E Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, H.E Mai Malam Buni of Yobe State, H.E Idris Nasir of Kebbi State, and H.E Dr Dikko Radda of Katsina State.
The presence of these Governors underscores the significance of cross-border relationships and highlights their commitment to regional stability.
