In a transformative initiative, the Qatari Government has embarked on the construction of an expansive housing project, consisting of 500,000 units, aimed at uplifting the lives of vulnerable and less-privileged individuals within Kaduna State.
The official inauguration of this monumental endeavor took place in Kaduna, with Dr. Ali Bin Ghanem Al-Hajri, Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, leading the ceremony.
Dr. Al-Hajri commended Governor Uba Sani for his unwavering commitment to the success of the Qatar Sanabil Project, which encompasses various impactful measures.
These encompass scholarships for orphans and children from disadvantaged backgrounds, distribution of tools such as sewing machines, welding equipment, and irrigation pumps, establishment of salons, and drilling of numerous boreholes spanning all 23 local government areas of Kaduna State.
The momentous event unfolded at the Millennium City Kaduna, where Governor Sani expressed his gratitude to the Embassy of Qatar in Nigeria and the Qatari-owned Sanabil Project for embracing Kaduna State’s business-friendly environment.
Governor Sani highlighted the significance of the Economic City in revolutionizing the landscape of modern and affordable accommodation, fortified with robust security and a conducive ambiance for business endeavors.
This visionary project is set to not only invigorate international trade but also cultivate a vibrant platform for local entrepreneurs and traders, propelling economic growth through the harnessing of product value chain opportunities.
The comprehensive provisions of the project encompass housing, clinics, shops, poultry farms, as well as farmlands for both rainy season and irrigation farming, encapsulating a holistic approach to community development.
Governor Sani’s resounding aspiration is to elevate Kaduna to become the premier economic hub in the Northern region, establishing a dynamic business cluster that fosters healthy competition and propels progress.
Emphasizing a commitment to ongoing support, Governor Sani assured Qatar Charity and other sincere investors of the Kaduna State Government’s steadfast assistance in realizing the completion of all projects.
