Kano Police Offer ₦‎1m Reward For Capture 2 Suspected Criminals

The Kano State Police have declared two suspected criminals as fugitives, each carrying a bounty of N500,000 for their capture.

Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Sani Gumel, made this announcement during the presentation of Sadiq Ahmad, also known as Big Star, one of the individuals responsible for terrorizing the Kano Metropolis.

CP Gumel revealed that Sadiq Ahmad had long been on the police’s wanted list and was apprehended following an attack on Abdulrahman Isah using a pair of scissors, which resulted in life-threatening injuries.

The victim received prompt medical attention at Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital and has since been discharged.

CP Gumel affirmed that a discreet investigation is currently underway, and charges will be filed in court.

The Commissioner expressed his gratitude to the people of the state for their unwavering support and cooperation.

He reiterated his commitment to offering a reward of N500,000 each for credible information leading to the arrest of the most wanted criminals, particularly Abba Burakita from Dorayi Karama Quarters and Hantar Daba from Kwanar Disu Quarters, both residents of Kano.
