AIF Commends Gawuna For Covering Registration Fees To 100 Female BUK Students

The APC Intellectual Forum (AIF) commends Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna for generously covering the 11,827,000 registration fees of 100 final year female students from Bayero University, Kano (BUK), who were facing financial difficulties.

The Forum said this act sets a commendable example, especially in contrast to Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf’s unfulfilled promise to cover registration fees for all Kano State students at BUK. This was conveyed in a statement by A.K. Mustapha, Chairman of the APC Intellectual Forum and made available to The Spectacles on Sunday.

The statement partly reads; “APC Intellectual Forum (AIF) appreciates the efforts and commitments of His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna for the payment of the registration fees worth 11,827,000 to 100 Kano State Final Year Female Students of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), who were unable to pay for their registration fees.

This gesture is worth emulating, especially to His Excellency, Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf, who make the promise to pay the school registration fees to all Kano State Students from Bayero University, Kano, but his government, yet to keep his promise.

While acknowledging and appreciating the gracious gesture of His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna for the payment of the registration. We want also urge, His Excellency, Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf, to keep to his promise, as Bayero University, Kano will close payment of the student registration fees today, at 12:00AM,

APC Intellectual Forum, therefore, prays to Almighty Allah (SWT), to reward His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna abundantly”.
