Hardship: Sheikh Bauchi Urges Muslim Clerics To Refrain From Cursing Leaders

Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi, a prominent Islamic scholar, has urged religious clerics across the nation to avoid making inflammatory statements that could incite violence and jeopardize the peaceful coexistence of Muslims in Nigeria.

Ibrahim, the eldest son of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, conveyed this message during a press conference held in Bauchi in preparation for the upcoming Eid-el-Maulud celebration.

He passionately appealed to the public, especially the Ulamas (Islamic scholars), to abstain from casting aspersions on one another while delivering sermons.

Ibrahim emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and maintaining the longstanding tradition of harmonious coexistence as vital factors for ensuring stability within the nation’s political landscape.

Furthermore, Ibrahim called upon Nigerians to refrain from directing curses towards their leaders, even amidst the current challenges and hardships facing the country.
